Graphic Designer & Product Artist

Foam Brain Games is looking for a talented Graphic Designer & Product Artist to join our growing creative team.

This position works directly under our Art Director and helps create products sold through hobby game stores, conventions and direct-to-consumer channels. Projects include enamel pins, stickers, dice packaging, keychains, acrylic products, retail displays, various licensed merchandise, and more.

We're looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, and excited about turning ideas into real products.

Responsibilities

  • Create original vector artwork and product designs using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Design products such as enamel pins, stickers, packaging, acrylic products, keychains, and other merchandise.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork files for manufacturers.
  • Review proofs and make revisions based on manufacturing/customer/admin requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director and other departments to develop new products.
  • Create digital mockups for product launches and marketing.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Ensure artwork meets company quality standards and production specifications.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience creating vector artwork.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to learn and use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to organize & track projects
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to accept feedback and revise work accordingly.

Preferred:

  • Adobe Photoshop experience.
  • Experience designing enamel pins, stickers, packaging, or retail merchandise.
  • Knowledge of print production processes.
  • Familiarity with tabletop gaming, collectibles, pop culture, or hobby gaming products.

Portfolio Requirement

To be considered for this position, applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating their design and illustration abilities. We are particularly interested in seeing examples of vector artwork, product design, merchandise design, packaging, enamel pins, stickers, or other commercially produced products.

Your portfolio does not need to include professional work; personal projects, freelance work, school projects, and passion projects are all welcome. We are looking for creativity, technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to create artwork that can be transformed into physical products.

Compensation:

$23-25/hr
